Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
To assure the safety and quality of feed products, CLARC Feedmill, Inc. sought to apply international standards to its existing manufacturing system. This endeavor was assessed by the internationally renowned certifying body, SGS (Societe Generale De Surveillance), which awarded us the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certification on February 7, 2020.
GMP is a set of established procedures that are implemented in various processes, such as the sourcing of raw materials, food production, warehousing, loading, and handling of finished feeds. These procedures ensure the integrity of feed processing in compliance with food safety regulations.
The certification assures meat consumers of the quality and safety of livestock products through strict processing of animal feeds, particularly for swine and poultry.
